Sim Racing

In F1 cockpit style seating position is quite different as opposed to Grand Turismo a.k.a GT style driving. GT style is the more common style as it is more comfortable.

In F1 driving style drivers body position is almost as if pilot is laying down. Legs are almost extended normally is operated by only two pedals: brake and accelerator. All rest essential driving controls are focused within racing wheel. Wheel has “yoku” shape as opposed to standard round shape in GT or standard car setting. Eyesight is a bit over the wheel level.

GT style driving position has more normal stance. Still much lower seating than regular desk chair height but knees are closer to 90deg. Back is more upright. Wheel is at belly to chest height. Pedals are normally 3 pedal set: Clutch, brake, accelerator. All wheel are also supplied with paddle shifters. User can also set game to auto shift or add optional manual shifter gear box on the side.
